2008-03-29 – Orly Taizt – James v Obama – Part 1

Comment: A fascinating collection of previously shown flawed claims, arguments and assertions. Not surprisingly they have still made it in the next filing of Orly. My prediction: As with Holder, the DOJ will ignore her and Orly will call for the resignation of yet another Federal Officer. This is a work in progress in which I intend to address all the claims made. As others, who are much more informed that I, have pointed out, Orly has filed a court case in DC without proper local representation. That’s going to be interesting to see. In addition, the document contains several spelling errors such as Vatall and errors of fact such as “fn. 192 Hollister v. Soetoro, 2d Cir. D.C. Cir. No. 1:08-cv-02254-JR, Motion to Dismiss Jan 26, 2009.”  Contrary to the citation “Hollister was neither in the Second Circuit nor the District of Columbia Circuit”, it was in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. Sloppy researcha and proof-reading.

Russ: Exploring the Evidence

The following is a work in progress in which I explore the claims left in the comments by a poster name Russ. Since his comments seem to be repeating typical assertions found on the web, assertions which in many cases are contrary to fact, I have decided to take his claims and show ‘the rest of the story’. I encourage anyone interested to contribute their observations, comments and suggestions.

2009-03-17 – Orly Taitz – Touhy request (FOIA)

Comment: Has noone informed Orly that the Keyes v Bowen lawsuit has been thrown out? The FOIA action, which was just recently touted by Orly as “US Attorney Generals signing on to her cause”, but was in fact nothing more than a refusal of the DOJ to abide by the issued Subpoena, seems to be moot right now. What is interesting is how many of the disproven assertions Orly still seems to be considering ‘facts’. Enjoy. My predictions? The FOIA request will be thrown out as moot.

Orly Taitz on Israel Radio – There is nothing 'this man' (Obama) says which is ever true.

Same old assertions, many of which are simply incorrect such as the claim  that since Obama’s father was not a US Citizen, Obama could not possibly have been a natural born citizen even though the courts have ruled that children of aliens born in the US gain US citizenship by birth right.

Some other goodies:

Selective Services: Failed to register under his legal name Barry Soetoro. Thus the Selective Services registration signed by Barack Obama must be fraudulent.

There is nothing ‘this man’ (Obama) says which is ever true.

It comes to the point of treason.

And then the conspiracy again: “An interesting fact is that both Michelle and Barack Obama have job description positions listed with all major news agencies and news papers.”

State Department Travel Advisory Pakistan 1981

“Before traveling to Pakistan, American Citizens should be aware of the following updated visa requirements: 30 day visas are available at Pakistani airports for tourists only. As these visas are rarely extended beyond the 30 day time per visa. Tourists planning to stay longer should secure visas before coming to Pakistan. Any traveler coming into Pakistan overland from India must repeat must have a valid visa, as 30 day visas are not repeat not issued at the overland border crossing point at Wagha.”

US State Department Travel Advisory for Pakistan in 1981, No. 81-33A

As of July 2009, this myth is still repeated in recent filings by Orly Taitz.

Obama's Pakistan trip

CNSNews

Southwestern Asia was a risky place for a Westerner to visit in 1981, although it is unclear whether travel to Pakistan was actually restricted. (The U.S. government at the time advised against visits to Afghanistan and had recently lifted a ban on travel to Iran.)

Timeline of trip

A few more details of the visit trickled out over the following months.

The 1981 visit took place after Obama left Occidental College in Los Angeles to transfer to Columbia University in New York that same year.

Obama stayed in Karachi with the family of a college friend, Muhammed Hasan Chandoo. Now a financial consultant in Armonk, N.Y., and an Obama fundraiser, Chandoo on Sunday declined to comment. He confirmed he was Obama’s “friend” and former “roommate,” but said, “I decided at the beginning of the campaign that I’d stay out of this whole game.”

According to published reports in Pakistan, Obama in 1981 also stayed at the home of a prominent politician, Ahmad Mian Soomro, in an upscale Karachi suburb, and went on a traditional partridge hunting trip north of Karachi. Soomro’s son, Muhammad Mian Soomro, is a senior politician who served as acting president before the appointment of President Asif Ali Zardari last September.
