The P&E ‘reports’ that Judge Blackwood invoked the term ‘dictator’ in describing Walt. The P&E suggests that the term may more appropriately apply to the Judge.
What our friends appear to have forgotten is that the Judge is merely sentencing Walt for the crimes of which he had been convicted by a jury of his peers, after a grand jury had indicted him. So far, I see nothing dictatorial in Blackwood’s sentencing, especially since he ruled at the lower end of the scale.
As to Walt, I can understand why the Judge may have used the term ‘dictator’ to describe his behavior and actions.
