Perhaps Darin does not know how SSN are obtained

In 03/72, SSA began assigning SSNs and issuing SSN cards centrally from Baltimore, MD. The SSN and name, for both original and replacement cards, are printed on the card and mailed centrally from Baltimore, MD to the number holder at the address furnished on the application.

So what if the zip code was entered incorrectly either by mistake or because the application form was unclear? The SSA would have assigned a SSN which matched the ZIP code geocode and voila…

The Area Number is assigned by the geographical region. Prior to 1972, cards were issued in local Social Security offices around the country and the Area Number represented the State in which the card was issued. This did not necessarily have to be the State where the applicant lived, since a person could apply for their card in any Social Security office. Since 1972, when SSA began assigning SSNs and issuing cards centrally from Baltimore, the area number assigned has been based on the ZIP code in the mailing address provided on the application for the original Social Security card. The applicant’s mailing address does not have to be the same as their place of residence. Thus, the Area Number does not necessarily represent the State of residence of the applicant, either prior to 1972 or since.

And since 2007, the SSA has been working on removing any relevance of the first 3 digits to reduce the risk of fraudulent use of SSN as exposed by several researchers.

So where do we stand right now?

President Obama’s COLB as well as the official statements of the Department of Health in Hawaii show him born on US soil. The latest statement by the former director of the DOH, Dr Fukino, one of the few people who by law could inspect the records, indicate that not only was our President born on US soil, but his records were signed by a physician.

In Arizona, the House and Senate passed HN 2177 which allows but not forces the SOS to investigate candidates who do not submit the full requirements of the Act. The present Secretary of State Ken Bennett is on the record that the COLB and a certification would be sufficient.

We also know that the Arizona bill has a ‘poison pill’, allowing anyone to sue the SOS in court when it comes to the certification process… Be prepared for countless lawsuits which would turn Arizona in another spectacle of follies. Their last follies cost them over 500 Million dollars…

Now back to the Social Security Number, where there remains a minor mystery as to how President Obama received a SSN which is typically but not exclusively granted to citizens of the State of Connecticut. Several plausible explanations exist and none of them raise to the level of fraud. In fact we know that the 1890, 1990, 04/08 and 08/04 1961 date of births all belonged to President Obama, living at known residences that trace back to him. In other words, NO evidence of any mysterious 121 year old, just a simple database coding error.

As to the Selective Services Registration, again, there is no credible evidence to support that the registration was back-dated or fraudulent.

As expected the birthers have mostly regrouped around the Vattel argument which they interpret to mean that natural born requires two citizen parents, and which is contradicted by the rulings in various Supreme Court  cases and recently an Indiana State Court in Ankeny v Daniels.

With their backs against a solid wall, what will the next step be? Any guesses?

That is untrue, the 1890 DOB was associated with Obama living at one of his well documented addresses.

Daniels was able to verify this SSN was issued at one time and to another individual,

is untrue. In fact Daniel’s search as well as the searches of others show that the SSN with the DOB 1890 was in fact assigned to President Obama himself. There has been NO evidence that the SSN was ever assigned to anyone else.

and secondly, when verified using several Social Security Administration verifying databases it is rejected as “NOT FOUND IN THE SOCIAL SECURITY INDEX”

Given the widespread distribution by birthers of President Obama’s SSN, it comes as no surprise that the SSN was retired. However, the SSN was tracked to President Obama by Susan Daniels and others.

and finally it is a Connecticut issued SSN; a state in which Obama was not living in at the age of 15. This SSN has been tied to Obama’s State Senate and US Senate offices and his private residents, as well as land line phone numbers since coming stateside to attend Occidental College in California.

In other words, it was verified as, once, belonging to President Obama and has now been retired?

The interview starts of with a misunderstanding of President Obama’s first executive order. Has she done the necessary research to come to these conclusions?

Why was the SSN fraudulent? Because it was issued in Connecticut in 1977-1979 (March 1977 she believes based on the SSN who since died and she presumes that SSN are handed out consecutively.)

But there is nothing fraudulent about having a SSN which was issued in another State. So why does Daniels believe it was fraudulent? Has it anything to do with her dislikes of President Obama’s policies?

She did find that President Obama has consistently used this number from 1980 onwards… She now also believes that the selective services registration is fraudulent as well. Sigh…

In very very tiny print she believes that the form number says May 07, which is a pretend letter I kid you not…

Her reason to claim that it was assigned to a different individual is because of the fact that there are three different birthdates linked to this number, all linked to the name Barack Obama btw, one is 1890, and on is 04/08/19 and 08/04/1961 (clearly transposed).

Oh no, there is the Velamoor link He was from Mercer Island and was a law clerk for Perkins Coie before joining judge Carter.

There is the $2M claim regarding the amount of money Obama has spent to defend himself against these birther lawsuits. Fascinating…

I am not very impressed.

Susan Daniels: There is no way now way no how ever that he could have a Connecticut Social Security Number…. There is the occasional anomaly, it’s not where you are born but where you apply. He was not living in Connecticut at the age 15. All explanations are laughable…

That’s all folks, Susan Daniels believes that President Obama could have had the SSN in question but there is also no evidence that the number has been assigned to anyone else… Weird…

Orly and President Obama’s SSN

Orly has been ‘arguing’ that Obama has been fraudulently using a SSN  xxx-xx-4425 but what do the facts show?

1. The SSN was issued in 1977-1979 in Connecticut

2. The SSN has been consistently reported for President Obama at many addresses which can be traced back to him

3. The SSN was reported to belong to Barack Obama with three different dates of birth: 1890, 08/04/1961 and 04/08/1961

The 04/08/1961 is linked to Obama’s Chicago Address

but so is his 08/04/1961 DOB

What is more shocking is that Obama is also reported to have been born in 1990.

But luckily the same address is also reported with the correct DOB but a different County…

We are now back to at least 1988 where Obama’s SSN is reported as xxx-xx-4425 but the records go to at least 1986…

Note that there is NO link of the SSN to anyone born in 1890 other than President Obama himself…

And thanks to Hollister who accessed President Obama’s records (and may have to answer some questions about it) we also know that in 1980, President Obama used the 4425 SSN when registering for Selective Services…

Educating the Confused: Public SSN databases

While the Social Security data for living US residents is strictly guarded by privacy rules, mostly because of the potential for fraud, there are a variety of public sources for Social Security data available. There are both Federal and State laws protecting the Social Security data.

It is important to recognize how such data are collected and what importance should be given to the data.

First of all there is the Social Security Death Index, which contains the SSN of all dead US citizens. Secondly, there are public resources which collect Social Security data from a variety of resources, attempting to reconcile incomplete or even contradictory data.

As the following site explains

Finding Social Security Numbers: If you have a person’s name, you may be able to look up his or her social security numbers using Accurint, Merlin, KnowX and/or LocatePlus. However, you may want to check with the company first, because the number may be masked for privacy purposes. Merlin is said to be more willing to provide complete social security numbers if a business can demonstrate a permissible use.

The data are collected from a variety of resources and the public data clearly contains many false positives when people submit loan applications, credit card applications, sign up for utilities, enroll in College,  etc under presumed names or SSN’s. Further more, there is a real risk of transcription errors. For instance with the SSN which President Obama has been using, there are three entries for the data: 1890, August 4, 1961, and April, 6 1961. While there is a minor mystery why the SSN was granted in the State of Connecticut, the public database shows that President Obama has been using this number for quite a few years, and the addresses largely reflect the addresses of his residence, or work addresses. The 08/04 and 04/08 transposition in the month/day is also easily understandable, but what about the ’1890′ entry. Since there is no entry found for this number and a name different from Obama’s, the logical conclusion is that this date is a data fluke. I predict that 1890 reflects: No Entry.

Orly: Letter to Social Securtity Administration

Note: Orly has decided to embarrass herself with a FOIA request based on the meritless searches of Public Records, which are notorious for false positives.

Nearly a year ago I submitted a subpoena for production of information relating to social security use by Mr. Obama. I also submitted by certified mail a number of dossiers featuring reports from licensed investigators, showing that Mr. Obama has used as many as 39 different social security numbers according to National databases. I was able to ascertain that those were numbers of deceased individuals and numbers never assigned. Pursuant to the federal Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552, I request information as to when social security administration will commence prosecution of this activity and why wasn’t it prosecuted until now, considering tremendous risk to our National Security posed by Mr. Obama’s continued presence in the White House , while using fraudulent social security numbers.

Barack Obama attended Harvard Law School in Cambridge from 1988 to 1991. While in school in Cambridge Obama rented an apartment – a “garden level” unit as real estate agents often call them – at 365 Broadway in Somerville on Winter Hill.

As soon as I heard that Barack Obama had rented on Broadway I figured it was this building. It’s a very distinctive brick rowhouse complex built in 1889 called Langmaid Terrace.

I have been a licensed investigator for almost fifteen years and recognized it immediately as fraudulent.If you had allowed Discovery and required the SSA to release his alleged application for that number (and I do not believe such an application exists), you would have realized it, too. Numbers are issued to a person in the state where they are living. Between 1977-79 when it was issued, he was living in Hawaii not Connecticut.

 

I now realize that you always intended to dismiss the case, because that’s what you were ordered to do. You have bartered your integrity for a lofty position and a hefty pension. Shame on you.

In Canada, it is rare to find somebody with two Social Insurance Numbers (SIN). Where this happens it may be a case of clerical error or a reference to a former SIN appropriated by an identity thief. The former reason is extremely rare. In thirty years I have only encountered this once. The Canadian SIN is used as an identifier less than the SSN is in the USA.

However, in the USA the case is somewhat different. According to Susan Daniels, of Daniels and Associates Investigations, Inc. in Chardon Ohio, when searching through database aggregators such as IRB, it is common to find a subject referenced with two or three Social Security Numbers (SSN). Here are some of the reasons a person may show-up with multiple SSN’s:

•a wife’s or child’s SSN could end up with father’s name
•a parent’s SSN could show up with a child
•the subject bought something with someone else and the SSNs could end up with each other’s name
•the database producer is relating several SSN’s to one address
•an error by whoever entered the data
